Thank you so much for letting me be your dad! I’m so proud to have you as a son! When I came home from work on Friday, you were sitting up on the floor with your back to me — something new you can do all by yourself—, and when you heard my voice, you scooted all the way around to look at me! Later that evening, I grabbed some animal crackers to share with you and sat on the floor with you. You made an expression that made me feel like the luckiest person alive; you were so excited that I came down to play with you! We shared animal crackers and hung out, and it was the best! Your school says you grabbed a balance bar they have mounted on the wall and picked yourself up to a standing position. That’s a huge milestone!  On Saturday, you joined me for my morning commute to George West, Texas.
